Pediatric Eye Care at NeoVision

Children rarely complain about poor vision — they think everyone sees the way they do. NeoVision provides complete pediatric eye care: child-friendly vision assessment, cycloplegic refraction for accurate spectacle power, squint (strabismus) evaluation, and amblyopia ('lazy eye') therapy. School screening matters deeply to us — our free school eye-screening camps across Indore have checked hundreds of children, because amblyopia treated at 5 is a success story and at 15 is a lifelong handicap.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

At what age should a child have their first eye test?

A formal eye check by age 3–4 (earlier if you notice squint, white reflex or family history). Every child should be tested before starting school.

Can lazy eye (amblyopia) be treated?

Yes — very effectively if started early. Spectacles plus patching therapy can normalise vision when begun in the early school years; results decline sharply after age 8–9.

Will my child outgrow a squint?

True squints don't self-correct, and an ignored squint can cause permanent lazy eye. Any persistent misalignment after 4–6 months of age deserves evaluation.

Are dilating drops safe for children?

Yes — cycloplegic drops are standard, safe practice and the only way to measure a child's true spectacle power. Blurring wears off in a few hours to a day.
